Earliest veggie garden for me ever!

Warm weather came late to CT this year, but as soon as it wasn’t snowing or pouring we got our butts out there and dug in! With our small amounts of time available we’ve managed to rake out all the garden beds. We are on a detective mission of watching to see what is coming up here, some of it we know, some we are waiting to see. We KNOW there is too much phlox so I’ve been trying to get rid of at least 1/3 of that which will be probably 50+ plants. Our other big project is to move 100’s of raspberry plants out of the flower/veggie garden as it’s taken over 3/4 of it and you can barely move through the garden. We are also rearranging the narrow 1 stone wide paths that get completely buried by even early summer and making wide usable ornamental paths out of the stone we are blessed to already have here!

We already have peas growing, asparagus, strawberries, rhubarb, cauliflower, spinach and perennial arugula!
